when i see this truck i smile, why?  because el tonayense is my favorite taco truck.

no joke they've got GREAT tacos!  this time i decided to try something different and change it up.  i wanted to see if their burritos were any good, turns out they are good just not as good as their tacos.

today is my last sunday living with elle and we finally lived up to our promises of making meatloaf and her making creme brulee.

humuhumunukunukuapua'a, not sure how to say this mouthful of a word but one mouthful of this caramel seaweed popcorn and you'll be hooked too.  i picked this up at the treasure island flee market today but i nearly past it by.  they caught my attention with a sample and once i tried it i had to take some home with me.  normally i'm not a fan of seaweed and if you asked my friends i tend to avoid eating foods that use it but today you are making me rethink my position on it.

i heard this song this morning for the first time and it caught my attention.  it's different and i like it, now i'm going to look into other songs by them to see if i should buy the cd.  what are your thoughts on this song?

throwback thursday - king of pain

rachael yamagata put on a terrific show!  i have a feeling i'll be listening to the new cds i purchased for the next few week.

dan wilson from semisonic opened the show it was fun to see them talk with such respect for one another and to hear that they are actually friends.  they have written songs together and/or dan has had rachael record some of the songs he's written.

the other opening act was a girl named madi diaz and although i had no idea who she was  was impressed and i'm even going to purchase her cd.
